    CDVI v1.2

DESCRIPTION
***********

A TeX DVI screen previewer for the IBM PC, supporting most graphics
adapters, by Wayne G. Sullivan <wsulivan@irlearn.bitnet>.

CDVI does not use external font files; it has the outlines of the 16
Computer Modern fonts built in and is extremely fast. Unfortunately,
CDVI does not support other fonts, refusing to run if your document
contains non-CM fonts (as do most LaTeX documents). Version 2 of CDVI
supports a wider range of fonts, together with sophisticated
substitution options. It does, however cost money; an order form is
    supplied!

The source code is not provided.

either NIFTP or the mail server) and download it to your PC.

    2.	Decode the BOO file using the DEBOO program. DEBOO is on the Aston
TeX archive in the [TEX-ARCHIVE.ARCHIVE-UTILS.BOO] directory.

    3.	Extract the files from the decoded ZIP archive using the PKUNZIP
program. PKUNZIP is on the Aston TeX archive in the
        [TEX-ARCHIVE.ARCHIVE-UTILS.ZIP.MS-DOS] directory.

    4.	Follow the instructions in the CDVI.DOC file.
